Description: This program expands upon the lessons and skills learned, developed, in the Vehicle Rescue Operations program and applies them in a multitude of directions with the focus of the program being situation problem solving and the development of the team concept. The roles of the rescue officer and incident commander are explored and defined. Crash dynamics and specific types are reviewed. Practical exercises include advanced stabilization and extrication evolutions. Incidents involving large/unusual vehicles are reviewed. The program finishes off with hands-on problem solving situations for the students to resolve. PPE: Firefighter or Technical Rescue
