DESCRIPTION: The Division of Fire Safety requires RIC firefighters to begin their training with an awareness level course with an overview of Rapid Intervention Operations.  This course will touch on several statistics based on research developed from Chief Don Abbott, tools and equipment to use on scenes as well as training that can be conducted in house.  This course qualifies as the mandatory 4 hour lecture refresher needed annually.
