NAEMTs PEPL (Principles of Ethics and Personal Leadership) is a 16-hour course that provides EMTs with the knowledge and skills to effectively interact with patients, co-workers, supervisors and the community residents at large. Topics covered: Personal/professional values and beliefs; Understanding "service beyond self"; Personal responsibility; Strategies for conflict resolution; and Serving as an ambassador for the profession, agency, and community.
