This operations-level course is intended for emergency response personnel who might be required to respond to an incident involving a confined space and perform entry and rescue operations. This course incorporates the NJSP OEM Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Planning Unit Confined Space Rescue Operations course with additional practical skills involving patient packaging, rigging and retrieval systems, supplied air breathing apparatus systems, and hardwire communications systems. This class involves primarily “hand-on” training. This course is intended to provide “Operations training as outlined in NFPA 1670 (Standard Operations and Training for Technical Rescue Incidents).
