Does your department’s rescue program comply with nationally accepted consensus standards? Does your department really meet the requirements? Are you sure? This class will focus on the NFPA regulations that apply to rescue operations in an effort to better acquaint personnel with the requirements of various rescue-related standards, specifically NFPA 1500, 1006, 1670, and 1983. This class is especially geared to line and training officers as well as managers seeking a better understanding of the standards and knowing what areas need to be addressed to be compliant. This program will be valuable especially to those agencies just starting to provide rescue services, or to those considering an expansion of the services that they provide.
